2009 was a rough season for formula car standout Corey Dalenberg. Corey was injured in a skiing accident in December 2008 and has been recovering from an extensive ACL injury and reconstructive surgery that has kept him from competing in 2009 racing season. After 10 month of recovery and physical therapy, that is all over now. He is now focusing on 2010 and shifting his direction from formula cars to road racing with goals on competing in the American Le Mans Series in the IMSA Lites 1 class for 2010.

Corey's decision to move from formula cars to road racing was made in August 2009, "I feel that I will get more valuable seat time and it will be more attractive to sponsors. If everything goes right, I will be competing for the championship in 2010 in the Lites 1 class with one of the top teams in the sport" - Corey Dalenberg.
