RFR Driver CAP HENRY Sprints Into

Winged Sprint car driver Cap Henry and Team CHR returned home earlier this week following a ten day stretch taking them through the East Coast as well as Canada. The thousands of miles and long days proved fruitful as Henry has inched his way into 3rd overall in the “All-Star Circuit of Champions” points chase while increasing his “Rookie-of-the-Year” lead to 158 markers.
Running with some of the best winged sprinters in the U.S. has given the 19-year-old tremendous experience competing with the World of Outlaws and local hometown track standouts as well as the All-Stars regulars. In the last two weeks, Team CHR has grabbed a Top 10 and three Top 15 finishes plus his first Pole and even a 2nd fastest qualifier, proving he can run with the best of ‘em!
Tonight, the team returns to familiar turf as “Ohio Speedweek” launches an exhausting “9 races in 9 straight days” schedule. The Attica Speedway hosts the opener tonight and is one-half of the F.A.S.T. series tracks where Henry won three “Rookie-of-the-Year” titles in 2009 (both individual tracks and series R.O.Y. trophies).
Hoping to have a great “Ohio Speedweek”, Cap knows each of the tracks and is looking forward to running strong in front of his Buckeye fans.
“It’s great to return to all of those tracks where we have a lot of laps and experience” Cap said. “And seeing our Ohio fans and friends will help to pump us up, too!”
