Biggest Nitro Jam in series history will feature over a dozen classes and exhibitions

 

EDMONTON, Alberta (May 27, 2010) – When it comes to racing in Canada no one does it better than Castrol Raceway.

 

Featuring the biggest lineup of cars and stars each and every year, Castrol Raceway has become known as a leader in Canadian motorsports entertainment. And in 2010, Castrol Raceway will once again try to outdo itself with what is being touted as the biggest Nitro Jam in the history of the series.

As race fans gear up for the 2010 River Cree Resort and Casino Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals presented by MOPAR and E3 Spark Plugs June 25-27 – Canada’s biggest and most exciting motorsports event – Castrol Raceway has announced a lineup bigger and better than ever before.

 

The 2010 River Cree Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals at Castrol Raceway will feature over a dozen racing classes including six professional classes and several exhibitions during the three-day event resulting in the single largest Nitro Jam in the history of the series.

Over a dozen nitro-powered cars, dragsters and bikes will rock Edmonton

 

 

Along with Nitro Jam’s three premier nitro classes made up of Top Fuel, Pro Fuel and Prostalgia Nitro Funny Cars, the River Cree Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals will also feature the return of Pro Modified racing to Nitro Jam competition in addition to full fields of Alcohol Funny Cars, Nitro Harleys and Pro Modified Bikes.

 

The three-day event will also feature the Canadian debut of side-by-side jet trucks along with additional exhibition classes. The River Cree Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam will also host IHRA’s seven sportsman classes as the best west coast race teams prepare to make the trip to Canada’s biggest event.
