CAITLIN SHAW TO DEBUT WITH RED HORSE RACING AT AAA INSURANCE 200

Red Horse Racing and driver Caitlin Shaw will join forces for Shaw's debut NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at O'Reilly Raceway Park.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. - After testing her first Tundra just over a year ago, driver Caitlin Shaw is ready to make her debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series event July 24, at O'Reilly Raceway Park. Shaw will be competing in the No. 1 Tundra for Tom Deloach and Jeff Hammond's Red Horse Racing.

"It's such a huge accomplishment for me to be able to compete in the truck series. Driving in NASCAR has always been a goal of mine, and it's exciting to see some of the hard work paying off. I can't wait to get on the track, especially at O'Reilly Raceway Park. It's a great opportunity that Toyota and Red Horse have made possible for me. I consider ORP to be one of my home tracks because I've been there testing and racing so often with the midget it just feels like home. I think that will help me to focus on running with the other trucks and earning respect from the veteran drivers."

Shaw has an open wheel background, but made the switch to stock car racing this year at Hickory Motor Speedway. Shaw competed in the NASCAR Whelen All American Series No. 12 Calico Coatings late model to get approved for NASCAR's Camping World Truck Series. Shaw will be the second youngest female to compete in the series as well as the first female to compete from her home state.
