The Speedway Drivers Search is The Show about making it big in the Indy Racing world. Follow the Finalists as they compete on and off the track. They will go head to head in races and crazy challenges all while living together in this dramatic, action packed, full throttle reality show.

From the tough loving pit crew to the charismatic drivers, this show has a little bit of everything. Watch the victories and the heartaches of these aspiring drivers as they chase their dreams of becoming the next  SPEEDWAY DRIVER!

About The Show
The Speedway Drivers Search show is a high performance, cutting edge Open Wheeled Racing "reality - based" TV program. The combination of 225 mph Indy Cars, rock and roll, and "day in the life" drama that involves the drivers and racing crew is what makes the show a hit. Speedway Drivers Search follows 25 talented drivers chasing their dreams in hopes to become a professional Indy Car driver. The show features men and women from 18 to 40 yrs. old all competing for a sponsored, full season ride in the Indy Lights Series. They come from diverse backgrounds, but will ultimately have the  same goal in mind: to compete fiercely and win the Speedway Drivers Search.

Speedway Driver Search offers TV viewers a unique look into the trials and tribulations of virtually unknown talent from all genres of auto racing, trying to make it into the big leagues of open wheel racing. Over six hundred drivers from all walks of life, applied to compete in the Speedway Drivers Search, hoping to achieve their dream of one day driving in the Indy Car Series. By the end of episode one, only 8 of these drivers will make it to the semi finals.

The Speedway semi finalists will live together in a situation similar to that of a "Real World", "Survivor" "Big Brother" and many other successful reality shows. Each episode will highlight the eight individual drivers backgrounds, as well as the tension of having to live in close quarters with seven other fierce competitors. The emotions and rivalry of the race track will spill over into the household as the roommates attempt to find a balance between living harmoniously and beating each other on the track while vying for first place in order to make their dream com true.

As each race unfolds, the threat of being sent packing is the black cloud that looms over the driver's heads. This program documents the first time any of these drivers have raced in an actual 225 mph Indy Car, and will quickly separate the men from the boys and the women from the girls.

Along with the in house and on track action, the drivers will also compete in the off track challenges to win and gain prime qualifying spots. These challenges will be mental as well as physical and will feature racing related activities, such as how quickly they will be able to get themselves out of a car if it were on fire, excessive heat exposure, and pit crew exercises to accentuate the importance of teamwork. Doing well in these off track challenges will give the winning competitors the edge on the racetrack that could ultimately make or break the competition.

The Speedway Drivers Search season #1 is scheduled to air on "ION" TV in the spring of 2010 . Season #2  TBA. Check your local listings for time and channel.
