Caitlin Shaw Caitlin Shaw is making some waves in the motorsports world, will she be the Danica of NASCAR?  The 19 year old racer from Albuquerque, New Mexico seems to be doing everything right to get herself into the NASCAR world. She started racing quarter midgets when she was nine and moved up in the open wheel ladder to the mini sprint division when she was 14. The 2008 season marked Shaw's first year competing in the USAC National Midget series. She also received opportunities to test two NASCAR Camping World Trucks through Toyota for teams Red Horse Racing at Richmond and Germain Racing at Pocono. She has the looks, the skills and the determination to become a very important part of NASCAR in the future and it seems like she is taking the right steps to  achieve her goal. Just recently, Caitlin Shaw and GirlRacer formed a partnership to help promote women world-wide. Shaw will be the USA representative and spokeswoman for GirlRacer.co.uk. She will have a weekly blog on the site to gain exposure for her efforts in the motorsports industry as well as other women in racing including other drivers, crew members and media. I think we need to keep an eye on her, what do you think?
