RacersIMC well represented at the 54th SCCA June Sprints

The RacersIMC was very well represented at the 54th running of the spectacular SCCA June Sprints by the Jay Motorsports team. Jay Motorsports drivers Nick Evans and Matt Schneider in the FE formula car class brought home top ten finishes for the team. Nick Evans qualified 2nd and led the first lap of the event in the FE class until Scott Rettich, a former Formula Mazda driver got by him. Nick put pressure on Scott the entire race but was unable to make a move on him and finishing 3 seconds behind him. Nick finished a very respectable 2nd place in his second running of the June Sprints in the FE class. Jay Motorsports Matt Schneider also gave a great performance in the 24 car field as he qualified 6th and finished in 6th position behind Scales Mound, Illinois driver Steve Stadel. Matt is becomng a very solid contender in the SCCA FE class.

Nick Evans also competed in the Spec Racer Ford class for Jay Motorsports qualifing 13th out of 69 drivers and finishing 3rd in group 5 (SRF) event. A very solid weekend at the 54th running of the June Sprints for the West Virginia team - Jay Motorsports.
